DJ Hi-Shock (Sydney, Australia)
Inspired by the early electronic music of Detroit, Chicago, early German techno and underground sounds of Belgian New Beat, he began his versatile professional DJ career in 1988. His sound is full of pounding drums and hypnotizing rhythms. Always striving to perfect his skills, he is constantly taking his music to a higher level. Hi-Shock has performed alongside top DJs and producers such as Sven Vath, Kevin Saunderson, Oliver Lieb, Thomas P. Heckmann, Commander Tom, Lenny Dee, Mijk van Dijk, Jammin' Unit and many others. His debut release Nagano Trax vol.1 has reached Beatport's Top 10.

DJ Topo (Galati, Romania)
Panaitescu Razvan aka DJ Topo had his first contact with electronic music in 1990 after listening to Prodigy, U 96, 2 Unlimited and Kraftwerk. His love for music soon became an obsession wich turned finally turned him into a DJ. He started to play in an underground club Mon Caprice and was since invited to DJ at a lot of other clubs in Europe. Topo is a big fan of technology and now has the possibility to create more new sounds by combining loops, effects and many other things that the latest advances in music production bring to the market. He loves music with good rhythm and adores dynamic songs that make you move.

Hypnotic Hour (Galati, Romania)
After graduating the local school of arts (classical guitar section) in 1997, Emil Oprea started to study jazz music and discovered the world of classical music, electric guitar, piano and flutes. In 1999 he became a bass guitarist in a local band called Balcanic. The chance to work in a radio station in 2000-2002 exposed him to electronic music, such as Prodigy, Leftfield, Crystal Method, BT. The next year Emil began experiments with electronic music and created two music projects: Perfect Sin, based on chill out / lounge music, and HYPNOTIC HOUR, based on a mixture of progressive house and energetic, psy influenced trance.

Psi Room (Sydney, Australia)
Psi Room is a new project for DJ Hi-Shock's darker techno and tekk-trance releases. As shown on Psy Tekk vol.1, the Psi Room project offers a crossover of driving, hard techno with a touch of classic Goa trance elements.

Zen Paradox (Melbourne, Australia)
Zen Paradox was established in 1991 by Steve Law as a solo outlet for his more techno oriented electronic music works. Think dozens of albums, EPs, contributions to compilations, remixes, international support slots, and respect oozing out of every single electronic/techno artist worth his or her salt, both in Australia as well as overseas, and you get the gist. Zen Paradox has also released on If?, Nova Zembla, Psy Harmonics and Solitary Sound.

Sonic Voyagers (Melbourne, Australia)
The Sonic Voyagers is an eclectic, very rare special occasion that brings together two of Melbourne’s preeminent electronic musicians, Voiteck Andersen (Voiteck/TD5) and Steve Law (Zen Paradox/Mutagenic Mind). Both musicians have, individually, starred on a who’s who of Australian and overseas labels including Psy-Harmonics, IF?, Harthouse, Primate and Nova Zembla), and together they released a studio album as the Sonic Voyagers for Danish label April – and some exceptional acid tracks, which also appeared on IF? Records’ Zeitgeist compilations.

TR-Storm (Melbourne, Australia)
Comprising of musicians Dan Woodman and Derek Shiel. Melbourne-based producers who were one of the first live acts to play at Global Village as the new sounds were emerging. Together, Dan and Derek could been found tweaking and peaking playing live alongside such names as Voiteck, Zen Paradox, Sven Vath, Juan Atkins, Reflex Allstars, Baby Ford, DJ T1000, and Stacey Pullen. Both boys continue to make music and DJ at outdoor festivals like Rainbow Serpent.

Thomas P. Heckmann (Mainz, Germany)
German producer Thomas P. Heckmann (aka. Drax, Exit 100, Age) has delivered a slamming acid remix for FSOM's "Welcome", available on elek008 - Omniglobe: Spirit Ov Thee Acid

Secret Surfer (Aarhus, Denmark)
Secret Surfer used to play bass guitar in a Danish electro funk band in the 80's. Currently he is working on a compilation album for Elektrax due in mid 2008. Expect a lot of hard edged minimal techno sounds. The Purple Flare EP on elek003 and Minimal Future EP on elek005 are still the two most popular hard-minimal techno releases on Elektrax Recordings, making it to the Bestsellers Charts on various music download sites.

FSOM (Melbourne, Australia)
The triad collectively known as Future Sound Of Melbourne brought together the diverse talents of Davide Carbone, Josh Abrahams and Steve Robbins. Their first release in the early 90's has put them in the top five placing in the UK Mix Mag's dance chart. The act had received contracts from Sony Music (Australia), Carl Cox and Volume Records (UK), Frank De Wulf and Sony Music (Belgium), Trancemaster (Germany), Underground Resistance and AXIS (USA). For the past decade FSOM have been at the forefront of underground electronic music in Australia. They have performed Live at hundreds of raves, festivals, and events around Australia.

Alice Yung (Seoul, South Korea)
Mysterious producer who met Elektrax on the internet. Nobody knows who she is. Produces dark, underground techno and cyber trance. She has also released some moody trance and dark techno on the Hypnotic Room label.

Q-Kontrol vs VC Faktor (Melbourne, Australia)
Real name Dave Beattie, Q-Kontrol always was the quiet achiever of underground techno and electronica in Melbourne, few people know that he headlined the first ever IF? live music gig or that he was one of the standouts on Shock Records’ Melbourne techno sampler, A Taste Of Candy Vol. 2, easily holding his own against better-knowns like FSOM and Snog. Q-Kontrol collaborated with his friend, VC Faktor for Andrez Bergen’s IF? Records, and also went on to do some scathingly good remixes for Snog and Black Lung.

Hakker (Leipzig, Germany)
He spends most of his time on internet chat rooms and various discussion boards, but whenever he enters a studio, Hakker can deliver some of the best driving, funky and minimal techno around.
